The
procedure I came up with is as follows:
First,
when you need a part, you try to locate it on the pictures on these pages.
Then you
send me an email describing the part.
I will
then go and see how easily it can be removed and, perhaps what other parts would
be reasonable to be included or excluded.
With this modified list I will look up the original parts cost on i.e. 1sttoyotaparts. Depending on the complexity and labour time to remove the part I will come up with a starting price for ebay.
I
think, a price somewhere between 1/2 and 1/3 of the OEM price will be a good
start. I will also try to get a good quote for shipping and handling to offer
competitive prices!
Since
you suggested the part, you will get a 5 – 10% discount on the ebay winning
price.
The
part(s) will however be offered on ebay
anyway, so you will have to bid there.
If that’s a problem for you, please tell me right in the beginning when you
send the request. Since I’m located in Austria, you will have to do a “global” ebay
search (click on “refine search”, and then “title and descriptions”,
“items available to: U.S”, “currency any currency”). Our simply use the
link above, which should link you to all my current ebay offers.
I will
cover the ebay fee’s whereas the S&H (which is negotiable, i.e. ground
shipments w/o insurance are cheaper, pick-up over-night services are the most
costly; I’ll try to recycle cartons and packaging materials whenever I can,
but can not tell the potential costs for packaging in advance) charges will be
paid by the buyer.
